Mahdieh Young Professionals

Mahdieh Young Professionals is a new program created to meet the needs of Shi’a professionals in the Philadelphia area. The group is open to anybody who would like to participate and no advance registration is required. The organization’s purpose is three-fold:

1) Provide networking opportunities among the shi'a youth in the Philadelphia area;

2) Provide opportunities for religious growth through discussion groups and lectures; and,

3) Organize activities such as hiking, canoeing, skiing, and eventually a hajj trip.

The group meets once every three weeks and welcomes all those who are 35 years old and younger and are genuinely interested in contributing to the program and its vision. If interested, please email us at info@mahdieh.org to add your name to the listserv. An electronic invitation (via evite) will be sent to notify the group of upcoming events. All meetings take place in Mahdieh unless otherwise specified. Food is served at all meetings.

We look forward to expanding the group and providing more opportunities for religious growth and social networking among the shi’a professionals in Philadelphia.
